THE BASICS: write a Christmas/Holiday wish list. It can be any 10 wishes you'd like to have granted, no matter what they are. Possible or seemingly impossible. People look and grant the wishes if they can. It's not about "OMFG PRESENTS", it's about making someone else's holiday a little brighter by giving. Personally, I get more out of giving than receiving sometimes. It's just a good feeling to give.

STEP ONE

** Make a post in your journal. The post should contain your list of 10 holiday wishes. The wishes can be anything at all, from simple and fun ("Dancing Llama icon plz!") to medium ("I wish for _____ on DVD") to really big ("All I want for Christmas is a new Supercape.") The important thing is, make sure these wishes are things you really, truly want.

** If you wish for real possible things, make sure you include some sort of contact info in your post, whether it's your address or just your email address where Santa (or one of his elves) could get in touch with you. In this case, you can always just note someone on dA for the sake of privacy.

** Make sure you post some version of these guidelines in your journal, so that others can join in and participate to spread the holiday joy!

STEP TWO

** Surf this forum [link] and browse the lists. Here's the important part:

** If you see a wish you can grant, and it's in your heart to do so, make someone's wish come true. Sometimes someone's trash is another's treasure, and if you have a leather jacket you don't want or a gift certificate you won't use--or even know where you could get someone's dream purebred Basset Hound for free--do it.

** You needn't spend money on these wishes unless you want to. The point isn't to put people out, it's to provide everyone a chance to be someone else's holiday elf--to spread the joy. Gifts can be made anonymously or not--it's your call.

There are no rules with this project, no guarantees, and no strings attached. Just...wish, and it might come true. Give, and you might receive. And you'll have the joy of knowing you made someone's holiday special.

My Wishes

1. RINGS! 8D I love love love love looooooooove rings! But I never find any in my size where I live! I have very large hands and fingers, so I range from a size 9 or 10. Sometimes even an 11! But I love rings, of all kinds, including simple pretty ones, or huge thick fat baubly ones. I would adoooore getting a few rings this year!

2. Necklaces, for that matter, as well. I want the necklaces that go aaaaaall the way down to your bellybutton. Those things are hot, especially with all their charms and chunk. So tight. BD Lovethemtobits.

3. Just like last year, I wish for more candles. I LOOOOOOOOOOVE candles! But keep it simple. I have a sensitive nose, and overpowering scents make me spazz. BUT I LOVE THEM SO MUCH LOL. <333

4. Aaaaaaand I totes need monies. Still. Like everyone else. All the timez. Lol. I want these for seekrit squirrel taip projects. >B]

5. MOMMA NEEDS SOME NEW DVD’S. Serious. I have a few I am dying to own: Treasure Planet, Pride & Prejudice [2005], Up, Mr. Magorium’s Wonder Emporium, El Dorado, Teen Witch, Muppet Treasure Island, Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, The Dark Crystal, Clue, Surf’s Up, Finding Neverland, Chocolat, Moulin Rouge, Any and All Disney flicks. 8D

6. Cowboy Boots. Black or Brown. Plain. Size 10. Rounded toe. [And other slutty shoes. SHOES BETCH, SHOES! High heels, Espadrilles, etc. Bright crazy colors size 10 BD Leave my big feet alone.]

7. Any scene/indie/hippie/eclectic/retro-chic fashion. Vests, and skinny jeans, and slouch boots, and junk like that. I really love them. That is totes my kind of style. So send me scarves and retro-chic sunglasses and fat jewelry and weirdness all around. I adore it. ALSO BAND TEE SHIRTS. LIKE STUFF FROM THE ROCKET SUMMER AND JUNK 8D!! <33333

8. A nice purse with lots of pockets and room so I can fill it with crap. I like the ones that are relatively high up under your arm, and can hold a lot of shit, cause I pack these suckers. Also, a nice big travel bag for when I go up to family houses in the next town.

9. Beauty products. Double prong clips for retro hair, big flower clips, barrettes, headbands, a curler set, etc etc. I am getting way into girly shit lately, but can’t afford it. xD <3

10. A DISNEYLAND PASS. YOU CAN LEASE THEM AND I WANT ONE SO FUCKING BADLY D8
